Advanced Aviation

Rendering of future airplane designThe Advanced Aviation Cluster is driving the future of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and seeks to transform regional transportation and the movement of people and goods across California.

At the center of this research cluster is California Airlink, a visionary initiative to create a first-of-its-kind network linking University of California campuses, aviation companies, testbeds, and public agencies. California Airlink will serve as a statewide innovation corridor for testing and demonstrating AAM technologies, positioning the UC–NASA partnership at the forefront of next-generation air travel.
